Indian Hills Park- Registration/BBQ at Shelter Areas by the Baseball Fields
Because we care about our park, our children and our neighbors! We will clean up the trash out of the park, place new mulch on the playground areas and pull weeds. For lunch we will have free, smoked pulled pork, brisket, chips and drinks.
This project is a combined effort of the City of Columbia, Columbia Parks and Recreation, Waters Edge Church and the neighbors surrounding Indian Hills Park. Supervision, tools and mulch will be provided by the City of Columbia and Columbia Parks and Recreation. Food, drinks and door prizes will be provided by Waters Edge Church. Leigh Britt is our Neighborhood Services Manager and works for and with the City of Columbia. You can contact her at 573-874-7504 or lcnutter@GoColumbiaMo.com with any questions or concerns. You can also contact Jim Voigt at 417-268-5161 if you are interested in volunteering on the planning team.
Registration and Pre-Registration:
Pre-Registering for the event will help us determine the amount of tools, bags, food and drink to have available on the day of the Clean-Up Event. We will also have the park sectioned off and send different groups to clean up the different sections. Please help us prepare for a successful event by tapping the phrase “Event Registration” in the right hand corner of the screen. Thank you for giving up your Saturday morning in order to keep our community park clean for our children and our neighbors!
